Looking for something to do on those empty days… Come join us as we move through a variety of safe exercises. We focus on fun, functional exercises adapted from Osteofit principles that assist you through your daily activities. From beginners to advanced we have a program for you. Our class is comprised of joint mobilization, Stretching for flexibility and strength training for bone density. Classes are offered Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10:15-11:15am
Our class size is limited to six clients in order to meet your needs. Whether you are suffering from pain or rehabilitating from injury we will ensure the program has you in mind. We work closely with Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists and Naturopathic Physicians in our community. Let us help you ACHIEVE BALANCE.
Restore & Renew Yoga( coming soon)
Retired and Fit Yoga is a mix between a gentle hatha flow combined with restorative postures that aid in rejuvenating the body, mind, and spirit. Find the balance between effort and ease in this calming practice. Classes are offered Tuesday/Thursday at 9am.
Exercise can improve muscle mass, promote strength gain, and improve dynamic balance and therefore is a unique and vastly underused therapy for people with osteoporosis and at increased risk of falling. The Osteofit program of falls prevention, strength, balance and coordination is designed to improve strength and functional ability, and increase confidence and quality of life.
- Exercise can modify some fall risk factors and thus reduce falls in older adults
- A physically active lifestyle is associated with a reduced risk of osteoporotic fracture.
